Yes, we offer assistance with land preparation. We can assist you with a site assessment to create a plan for what needs to be done before your tiny home arrives. From there, we can recommend different companies for any needed work on your land. Our team can guide you through the process to ensure your site is ready for your new tiny home.

Setup time can vary depending on the complexity of the site and the specific requirements of your home. Generally, the setup process takes less than a week, including delivery, placement, and utility connections.

To prepare your utility connections for your tiny home, you’ll need the following:

  • Electricity: Your tiny home requires a minimum of 50 AMPS for electricity. For the connection, you’ll need a compatible outlet similar to the Leviton 2711, which is a 50 AMP, 125/250V, NEMA 14-50R outlet. This type of outlet is commonly used for RVs and larger appliances, ensuring it can handle the electrical load of your tiny home. Ensure that your electrical setup includes this type of outlet before your home is delivered.
  • Water Connection: Water is connected through a standard hose connection. Make sure you have a suitable water source nearby to connect to your tiny home.
  • Drainage: For drainage, you’ll need to hire a licensed plumber to connect the plumbing pipes to your chosen method of draining. This could include connecting to a septic system, directing greywater into a garden, or another approved drainage solution. Our tiny homes are equipped with standard pipes at each connection point, so you’ll need to work with your plumber to decide on and install the appropriate drainage setup for you.
